Production Schedual

Wednesday 17^th February

We will do all of our filming on this day. We will shoot four different scenes and this will make up the opening of our film. The four scenes are the one down the canal where we witness a chase between two rivals, the forest scene where we first discover the drugs, the second forest scene where the villain is looking for the drugs and the final scene where the main character gets caught. We plan to do two takes of each scene so that we have a back up if one isn’t up to the standard that we want it to be.

Monday 1^st March

This will be the first day that we go over to Telford to start editing our film. We will go through the filming we have and first of all put it in the right order so that it runs correctly. This may take a while as we have to get used to the new software, Final Cut, and the Apple Macs.

Tuesday 2^nd March

Now that our film will be in the right order, we will now set about editing our film. We will cut it down to the required size and take out the bits that we feel we don’t need. This is all about getting the right footage in the film.

Monday 8^th March

On this day we will record the voice over’s for our film. We will write a script out and then record ourselves saying it. We will then go back to the Mac and add the voice over’s to the film and make sure they are in sync with it. We will record ourselves twice in case there are any mistakes. We will have to make sure that it fits the size of the film and so it all goes together.

Tuesday 9^th March

On this day we will add in all the graphics and credits. Colour and text will be put in to make it look more professional. We will also make a start on making the music for the film. Half of the music will be created by a member of the group, Alex Cooper, and the other half will be made on Garage Band.

Monday 15^th March

On Monday we will finish off the music and cut it down to size so that it fits the film. This is hard because we have to get the length of the music down to the second. We will also do some work on our preliminary task, we will do the filming.

Tuesday 16^th March

We will edit our entire preliminary task and finish off the rest of the film. Our preliminary will take a large proportion of the day. We will also run through or final film a few times to make sure that it is up to the standard that we want and, if not, we will make a few final changes to the film.

Monday 26^th April

That will be the day where we upload all of our work on to our online blog. This is so it can be electronically marked. Getting all the work up to a satisfactory standard may take many weeks.
